Dr. Laurie King-Irani is North American Coordinator of the International Campaign for Justice for the Victims of Sabra and Shatila and the editor of the indictsharon.net website.
A social anthropologist, Dr. King-Irani has conducted field research in Israel and Lebanon, and has also worked as a journalist and editor in Beirut and Washington, DC. From 1998-2000 she was editor of the award-winning independent quarterly, Middle East Report, published by the Middle East Report and Information Project (MERIP).
King-Irani is currently designing an interdisciplinary research project on the political, social, and cultural repercussions of the absence of truth and justice commissions and the lack of international legal enforcement in Israel/Palestine and Lebanon. She teaches in Canada.
